Hi, I'm Josephine.

I know what it feels like to dream of a career in the arts and not know how to get there.

As a young performer, finding an agent and accessing real industry opportunities felt difficult, confusing and daunting. I didn’t secure my first agent until my twenties, despite years of training and industry experience.

That feeling of scarcity and hustle stayed with me for years.

After more than a decade working as an artist across national television, live stages and the entertainment industry, I made the leap into business. I went on to own and run my own performing arts studio for more than 10 years, including an in-house talent management service.

Today, I bring more than 25 years of experience across the performing arts and entertainment industry, spanning artist development, studio ownership, talent management, production and talent representation - giving me a unique perspective across the industry, from the studio floor, onscreen, to the professional stage and behind the scenes.

I’m an award-winning Talent Agent and the Founder of Studio Talent Collective, a talent agency created to make the pathway into the professional industry more accessible for emerging talent and the studios that support them.

As the host of Studio Talent Collective: The Podcast, I’ve connected with performing arts professionals and studio owners around the world, with almost 30,000 downloads to date.

Why I created Studio Talent Collective

I wanted to create what I wish had existed for me when I was a young artist trying to "make it".

A place where aspiring performers could access professional guidance, representation and genuine industry opportunities, without feeling like the industry was completely out of reach.

Because I remember having those dreams.

I remember how exhausting it felt trying to figure it all out.
And I know how much can change when the right people, guidance and opportunities are there to support you. Performing Arts teachers are a great start!

That’s what Studio Talent Collective is about.

Today, we work alongside performing arts studios, studio owners and emerging talent to create those pathways - connecting talent with real industry opportunities while helping studios bring professional talent management into their businesses.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief:

Talent deserves access to opportunity.

My mission is to make the performing arts industry more accessible, inclusive and connected - creating positive opportunities for talent and the people who help them get there.

Thanks for being here and taking the time to get to know me a little more. I hope we get the opportunity to work together soon.
