✨Oprah magic, AHA moments and listening to the whispers... 

I have dreamed about seeing Oprah since FOREVER and this week I got my chance, with my Book Club buddy, Maree.

The crowd was epic, the vibes were high and for my $250 ticket - I still had to squint to see her on the stage - but who cared! I was in the room and it was everything I hoped for.

Oprah is the ultimate story teller. She has a presence and resonance in her vocal tone that makes you feel at home. Deep. Warm. Inviting.

• LISTEN TO THE WHISPERS

We all have that inner voice that whispers to us but too often, we don't listen. 

You know those moments where someone says something "off", or when something happens and you think "hmmm, that aint right". But yet, we ignore the whisper.

Sometimes continuing a relationship or a path that is not aligned to us... yet still. We wait. 

Why do we persist? The whispers are our guide so lets start listening to them. 

Don't wait to be hit over the head with a brick before taking action, or removing yourself from a toxic environment. Listen to the whisper... your soul.

• LIFE HAPPENS WHEN IT'S MEANT TO

Oprah shared stories of her rising to fame and fortune. With $22,000 as her annual salary dosed with ridicule and shame, as industry told her she wasn't the right look or size. 

She went on be a billionaire by trusting her gut. Honestly it's never too late to find your truth.

The key to success? Know your WHY deeply. Stay true to yourself.

Dont chase the money and the fame but rather, the WHY. The rising will come when it's supposed to. I believe that.

• DON'T MISS THE MOMENTS

When Oprah shared a question she asked to legendary TV Journalist and Presenter, Barbara Walters, it was "what would you do differently if you could" and Barbara said, she does not remember half of the journey.

The fame, the travel to exotic filming locations etc is a blur. It all flew by and she didn't enjoy it. Too focused on "what's next". 

Live in the moment and savour it. 

• TOO MANY ADVISORS CAN STEER YOU ON THE WRONG PATH

Oprah shared a story that really hit home about having too many advisors in her ear about decisions that ultimately she didn't feel aligned to and would later regret. Keeping her up at night, worrying about the decisions made. YOU KNOW your Truth!

WHAT HAPPENED THE DAY AFTER I SAW OPRAH? ... Well, I trusted myself over the AI slop being fed to me.

I am in the process of creating a logo for Studio Talent Collective. 

I shared the logo with some friends and also with AI. I was torn apart! Literally shredded piece by piece with AI telling me everything from font, to icon, to spacing etc was all wrong.

Essentially that I needed to start again. But here is the thing... I love the logo! 

That's when I decided "I don't need AI to tell me what I like". 

At what point do we listen to ourselves and stop blending into the external voices of what it SHOULD BE. I feel so great about my new logo and can't wait to share it with you soon!
