This is what happened in the room 💚

The Social Club You Didn't Know You Needed
Last night we had a session inside The Greenroom, and there was a moment that has stayed with me.
One of our members, shared openly about some of the things he’s been navigating in his business and life. There wasn’t any polish to it. Just honesty. The kind of honesty that you don’t often get to bring into work conversations when you’re running a studio or leading a team.
And what struck me wasn’t just what he shared - it was how the room responded.
People listened. Properly listened. No interrupting, no fixing, no jumping in with advice straight away. Just space.
After a while, I asked a simple question:
“What’s something good that’s happening right now?”
There was a pause.
Not because there wasn’t anything good happening, but because sometimes when we’re deep in the day-to-day of running a business, it’s easier to sit in what’s heavy than to shift perspective.
And then the energy started to shift and we had a laugh.
Small wins came out. Moments of progress. Things that hadn’t even been recognised as “wins” until that conversation.
That moment stayed with me because it showed something important about the kind of space we’re creating.
The Greenroom isn’t just about business strategy or problem-solving. It’s not about sitting in a room and working through a checklist of things to fix.
It’s also about perspective.
About remembering that your business doesn’t exist in isolation from your life.
We talk about studios and leadership and decision-making, yes. But we also talk about travel, relationships, family, mindset, and everything that sits underneath how we show up in our work.
Because when life feels heavy, business feels heavy too.
And when you have space to be honest and then space to shift that perspective, something really powerful happens.
You don’t just feel supported in your business. You feel supported as a person.
What also surprised me last night was how much I personally got out of it. I host the space, but I’m not separate from it. I’m in it.
I leave with insights, ideas, and perspectives that I carry straight back into my own work and life.
That’s what happens when you bring the right people into a room together. It becomes reciprocal. Everyone contributes. Everyone benefits.
It’s not about being “taught.”
It’s about being in conversation.

And I think that’s what makes spaces like this so valuable, especially in industries where you’re often leading, holding, and making decisions alone.
You need places where you can simply think out loud.
So that’s what last night reminded me of.
Not in a big dramatic way, but in a simple, human way.
The value of being in a room where you can show up as you are, talk things through, and leave feeling a little more clear, a little more connected, and a little less alone in it all.
That’s what The Greenroom is becoming.
Not a program. Not a course.
Just a space for real conversations between people who understand the work and the life behind it.
And I’m really grateful for that.
